All of our Cuba resorts are located in Varadero, a 13-mile long peninsula of white sand and clear, blue seas. Varadero is Cuba’s top seaside destination, located on the north side of the country.
As with most Caribbean islands, Cuba is warm all year but the best time to visit is in the winter months of December to April. Despite being a little cooler, rainfall is also lower in this season.
Varadero has a fantastic nightlife with plenty of restaurants and bars. The historic capital Havana is 2 hours away along good roads and is definitely worth a visit to experience its fascinating charm.
Thomas Cook Airlines fly twice a week from Manchester to Varadero in the peak seasons but there are plenty of indirect alternatives year-round from the UK to Cuba, usually into and out of Havana.
