Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort is a true get-away-from-it-all experience, located on the idyllic tropical isle of Tobago. The resort is exclusively adults-only and the focus is on relaxation and rejuvenation. As part of the holiday, the resort includes one spa treatment per day for every guest although the spa is available to guests who wish to use more of its facilities.

The island of Tobago is an unspoilt natural wonder, said to be the inspiration for the island where Daniel Defoe chose to cast Robinson Crusoe away. Its tropical greenery tumbles dramatically down from the hilly centre of the island to meet the sea, with just a thin fringe of beach separating the two. The beach at Le Grand Courlan provides safe swimming and water sports as well as the chance to stretch out and sunbathe.

Away from the beach the hotel has a large freshwater swimming pool and a smaller plunge pool for relaxation. There are also two tennis courts which are floodlit for evening games. A well-equipped fitness centre provides the opportunity for guests to maintain their training schedules or to start a new one.

The spa is the focus of activity, or should it be relaxation, at Le Grand Courland. There are a wide variety of treatments, including massage and facial scrubs and both men and women are welcome to partake. Customised treatments are available for those with particular requirements.

The island of Tobago provides a stunningly scenic location for a wedding. The hotel makes it easy for anyone to enjoy the experience of being married there as it has a wedding co-ordinator who will liaise with the couple to ensure that their big day goes without a hitch. Unlike some Caribbean islands, Tobago requires that anyone who wishes to be wed on the island has resided there for at least four days.
