Coyaba Beach Resort has an enviable location on Grande Anse Beach, Grenada. This two and a half mile long beach is well-known among visitors to Grenada as being one of the best on the island, if not in the whole Caribbean area.

The resort stands in over five acres of landscaped tropical gardens and offers a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of the everyday world. Much of the activity centres on the wonderful beach area and guests can enjoy a number of water based sports there free of charge. These include snorkelling, Hobie cats and kayaks. For an additional charge scuba diving and windsurfing are also available.

The resort is well situated for visiting the island’s many attractions. St George’s, the historic capital, is only about five miles away, and the Grande Anse area itself has good shopping facilities and a lively nightlife.

At the resort guests can enjoy a dip in the pool followed by a lazy few hours on a sun lounger. If the sun gets too hot to bear there are thatched canopies to find shade beneath. For the more active there is croquet on the lawn or tennis. Golfers also have unlimited green fees at the Grenada Golf Club. Golf club hire and other items are not included.

Guests who feel the need to have a workout can find all the equipment they need at the hotel’s fitness centre. Also on offer are yoga classes, nature walks and a morning stretch session.

There is a wide range of spa treatments on offer at the resort, some of them having a theme such as the golf package. The themed treatments are carefully thought out to help the fatigue and muscle aches that arise from particular activities. Individual services are, of course, available including a variety of massage and facials.

The Coyaba Beach Resort welcomes wedding parties and is happy to have their wedding planner make the necessary arrangements in liaison with the happy couple. Packages are available which provide a range of different options and these can be added to depending on the actual requirements.

The Arawakabana serves breakfast and dinner in an open air venue. The cuisine is international strongly influenced and supplemented by Caribbean flavours.

The Carbet

More casual meals are served at lunch and dinner at the grill. Salads, soups and burgers are among the favourite offerings.

Cacique Bar and Lounge

This is a lively lounge bar which provides entertainment once a week along with the drinks.

The hotel has two other bars, the Lobby Bar and the Pool Bar.

Guests who prefer to eat in their rooms can use the hotel’s in-room dining service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
