The Fairmont Royal Pavilion enjoys a privileged position on the western coastline of Barbados, in the prestigious St James area. Its attractions are spread over 11 acres of landscaped gardens and it is more reminiscent of a grand house than a resort hotel.

The gardens of the Fairmont come right down to the beach with its fine white sand and swaying palms. Safe swimming is on offer in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and there is also a variety of water sports to enjoy. These include snorkelling, sea floats, kayaks, windsurfing boards pedalos and Hobie cats.

Guests who prefer swimming in a pool rather than the sea will find the hotel’s swimming pool more to their liking. There is also a Jacuzzi which has room for eight people.

Pampering and relaxation are on the menu at the hotel’s spa which offers a wide range of services including body scrubs, massage and facials. Alternative treatments such as Reiki are also available.  A beauty salon is also on site providing manicures and other services for both men and women. For a more invigorating body treatment there is a gym which offers cardio equipment and free weights. The gym is open for 24 hours a day.

Romantic weddings are the norm on a Caribbean island and the Fairmont Royal Pavilion has a range of special wedding package deals to ease the cost of getting married there. The hotel’s wedding co-ordinator is on hand to see that all the necessary arrangements are in place so that a memorable day can be enjoyed by all.
