Antiguans will tell you that there are 365 beaches on Antigua, one for every day of the year and it’s not hard to see why with a never-ending perimeter of gorgeous white sand beaches surrounding the island.
Antigua is an easy island to get around and as such, there is no “hot spot” for tourists. Luxury resorts surround the island, many tucked away in quiet coves. Saying that, a short taxi ride will get you to most places and a trip to St. John’s, the island’s capital, is much recommended.
Antigua is a popular Caribbean holiday destination with tourists from the UK with December to February being the high season. A more relaxed atmosphere than many of its Caribbean neighbours, this island boasts history, culture and some of the friendliest inhabitants you could meet.
