Antiguans will tell you that there are 365 beaches on Antigua, one for every day of the year and it’s not hard to see why with a never-ending perimeter of gorgeous white sand beaches surrounding the island.
Antigua is a popular Caribbean holiday destination with tourists from the UK with December to February being the high season. A more relaxed atmosphere than many of its Caribbean neighbours, this island boasts history, culture and some of the friendliest inhabitants you could meet.
Antigua is an easy island to get around and as such, there is no “hot spot” for tourists. Luxury resorts surround the island, many tucked away in quiet coves. Saying that, a short taxi ride will get you to most places and a trip to St. John’s, the island’s capital, is much recommended.

If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed vacation then the resorts around Soufriere and the Pitons are the place to go.

Aruba, lying at the very southerly end of the Caribbean chain of islands, is a stunning island of picture perfect white sand beaches and year-round sunny weather to welcome you.
Amongst some of the most spectacular beaches in the Caribbean, you could be forgiven for spending your entire stay on the white sand outside your hotel but there is plenty more to see in Aruba.

British Airways operates 4 flights a week from the UK to Nassau. Indirect flights via the USA are a good alternative as the Bahamas lies only a short distance from Florida’s east coast.

St. Vincent & Grenadines is a nation of 32 islands located in the southern Caribbean Sea and just 24 miles south of Saint Lucia. The largest island is St. Vincent with its forest-covered mountainous interior and Kingstown, the nation’s capital.
A chain of smaller islands, comprising the Grenadines trails off to the south and are home to many beautiful reefs, white sand beaches, yacht-filled bays and stunning volcanic landscapes.
Many visitors like to head to Tobago Cays a marine park of sheltered lagoons and stunning coral reefs where there are fantastic snorkelling opportunities and a great chance to swim with the sea turtles.
There are no direct flights from the UK but the islands are easily reached via a short onward flight usually from either St. Lucia or Barbados. With far fewer tourists, it’s well worth the additional effort to get here.
