British Airways operates 4 flights a week from the UK to Nassau. Indirect flights via the USA are a good alternative as the Bahamas lies only a short distance from Florida’s east coast.

Varadero has a fantastic nightlife with plenty of restaurants and bars. The historic capital Havana is 2 hours away along good roads and is definitely worth a visit to experience its fascinating charm.
As with most Caribbean islands, Cuba is warm all year but the best time to visit is in the winter months of December to April. Despite being a little cooler, rainfall is also lower in this season.
Thomas Cook Airlines fly twice a week from Manchester to Varadero in the peak seasons but there are plenty of indirect alternatives year-round from the UK to Cuba, usually into and out of Havana.

Flights from the UK arrive in Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos with a brief touchdown en-route, usually in Antigua. Alternatively, there are indirect options via Miami which is only a brief flight from the islands.
