Ti Kaye Resort and Spa
Ti Kaye Resort & Spa is located in the secluded Anse Cochon cove on the legendary island of Saint Lucia – perfectly nestled along the cliff side. An ode to Mother Nature, the resort is often described as inspired by nature; each cottage purposely built into the landscape, drawing from the beauty of its lush natural surroundings. Equipped with modern amenities and some unusual quirks, guests are invited to unplug and indulge in the purposely built outdoor shower, dip in their personal pool or simply hang about in the hammock while watching the sunset from their balcony. Enjoyment of the postcard perfect views and all Ti Kaye has to offer while relaxing in your cottage, affords total privacy by design.
The traditional architectural design is resonant throughout the property whether guests choose to dine at the open air Kai Manje restaurant near the pool, or make the journey down 166 spiralling steps to the beach front restaurant, Ti Manje. Excite your palate with delectable creations from the newly appointed Chef's gastronomic repertoire infused with a Creole flavour. After, chill in the recently opened bar, sipping in both the rich views and some made to order island cocktails.
Set your clock to island time and be seduced by the Ti Kaye experience; adventure for the thrill seekers on the high seas maybe whale watching or diving into the unchartered waters, a peaceful oasis for total rejuvenation and awakening of senses at Kai Koko Spa or a tropical haven to rekindle growing love with wine tasting in one of the Caribbean's largest wine cellars. Get closer to each other and nature, whatever you are looking for and more, Ti Kaye never disappoints. Rustic elegance with a price tag to suit most budgets. Visit Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, nature's best work!
Every successful vacation is not complete without good food. Ti Kaye however serves up great dishes, designed to awaken your tastebuds with rich flavours. Armed with the freshest produce found on the island, the newly appointed Chef's masterful international creations infused with creole flavours, will satisfy even the most discerning palate.
A new addition to the Ti Kaye Village Resort & Spa, Ti Kave is a specially designed underground wine cellar with a medieval design and a meticulous selection of handpicked wines from around the world. Cleus, the dutiful Sommelier will take your palate on a journey with his encyclopaedic rendition of each variety. With such a wide range of wines, there is something to suit every budget whether you are a wine connoisseur or can't tell your Pinot Grigio from your Sauvignon Blanc.
There are 166 steps down to the beach. Going down is easy, it's the going back up that's hard work! However, there are always staff around so if you aren't feeling so energetic just ask one of them to fetch you a ride - there's always a vehicle at hand to give you a helping hand back up.
On the beach you will find lounge chairs with side tables and umbrellas. There is also a volleyball court and kayaks that you can take out. The dive shop (see below) has snorkelling gear and there are some good reefs a short swimming distance from the shore. There are other beaches just to the south and guests can kayak round to them.
Ti Kaye Island Divers is a well equipped fully functioning dive shop, the best the island has to offer. From its humble beginnings back in 2003/4, as the Resort developed and expanded, so did the Dive Shop. Fully furnished with a new Dock, training room for certification courses, variety shop and new boat, Island Divers has raised the bar of the typical dive experience. If you are a diver, you will know dive shops and what they normally look like, well this one will raise your eye brows, it's that good. Island Divers truly is a diver's perfect one stop shop. Not only is the property located within a marine reserve, divers will enjoy some of the best dive spots on the island including the Lesleen M wreck - a 165-foot freighter that was sunk in the bay in 1986 and the Anse Cochon Cove - one of the best diving hotspots on the island.
Built at the cliff's edge with dramatic views of the silver sands of Anse Cochon and the azure sea below, the latest addition to Ti Kaye Resort is Kai Koko Spa. With such unapologetic beauty, it’s no wonder the spa is quickly becoming one of the most sought after on the island; Ti Kaye's best kept secret. This intimate resort spa has 3 treatment rooms crafted, as its Creole name suggests, from richly grained Coconut Wood.
With a name like Kai Koko, it is not surprising that both Cocoa and Coconut feature in many of the Spa’s Signature Treatments, among them the chocolate body scrub which uses raw cocoa and nutmeg, and the coconut moisturiser which contains fresh coconut cream and other ingredients. At Kai Koko Spa each treatment is a Ceremony, beginning with cool fruit tea combined with a foot cleansing and massage ritual.
Nestled on the cliffside above Anse Cochon cove, 33 charming gingerbread cottages line the sloping hill. Each cottage is purposely built for stunning sunset views over the Caribbean sea and to afford an all consuming breathtaking view of the azure waters below. Each cottage is accessible by a matrix of paths and stairs which are lit up at night.
All cottages and ocean view rooms alike share certain aspects including a private outdoor garden shower, i-pod dock and a large balcony with a double hammock. With the shutters open their design allows for the easy flow of air to keep the rooms cool, along with the ceiling fan. Or the air conditioning can be switched on if preferred and the shutters closed.
Ti Kaye Resort have recently extended their free wi-fi service which can now be accessed in all rooms.
