The Coco Palm Hotel is beautifully situated on the beach at Rodney Bay in St Lucia. The hotel is unmistakeably Caribbean with its brightly coloured wooden buildings partly hidden by palms and exotic plants. If you are a believer in Feng Shui then you will appreciate the way in which the Coco palm Hotel has made every effort to embrace the principles of that ancient Chinese art in the design of its space. Even the colours of the buildings, already referred to, make use of strong reds and yellows – Feng Shui colours for creating energy.
The Rodney Bay area is a lively tourist venue with good shopping and many restaurants and bars. The beach here provides safe swimming and there are lots of shady spots on the sand in which to relax with a drink or a book and take in the busy harbour scene.
The beach is within easy walking distance but the hotel provides its guests with a pass, for a fee, which gives access to a shuttle to and from the beach. Also included is the hire of a beach chair and sun umbrella and non-powered water sports.
Away from the beach the hotel has a large free-form swimming pool complete with sun deck and sun loungers. For those who are unable to drag themselves away from their laptops, complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel grounds – even at the swimming pool!
The Coco beauty Clinic at Coco Palm offers guests a chance to unwind with a massage or other spa treatment such as reflexology or a facial. Hair and beauty services are also available and both men and women are welcome.
If wedding bells are in the offing and you would like to be married in St Lucia, the hotel has a special wedding package to help manage the cost. The package includes all the basic essentials and there are many options to enable customisation of the day to suit you.
