Hawksbill Beach by Rex Resorts
Beach lovers will be in their element at The Hawksbill Beach by rex resorts as it has no less than four separate sandy beaches to offer. One of them is a naturist beach, (clothing optional), the only one of its kind on the island.
As well as the beaches the resort is surrounded by 37 acres of verdant tropical landscape with plenty of opportunity to get out and about to explore the countryside.
There is plenty going on at the Hawksbill beach and there is no reason why anyone should be bored during a holiday there. Watersports are, of course, hugely popular in this part of the world and the hotel offers its guests a range of free water based fun. For instance, they have Sunfish sailing boats, pedalos and snorkelling equipment for guests to enjoy. For an extra charge it is possible to take part in water-skiing and there are other types of craft to hire, again for an additional charge.
Away from the beach you can brush up your tennis game or have a massage in the Wellness Centre. The resort’s freshwater swimming pool is also a great place to spend a relaxing day having a quiet dip or just lounging poolside with a book.
The hotel’s superb location and scenic beauty make it an ideal choice for a Caribbean wedding. There is a wedding co-ordinator whose job it is to make sure that a bride and her husband-to-be have a carefree and relaxed day, knowing that the hotel will have made all the necessary arrangements. Special wedding packages are available to help ease the cost.
The Tamarind Tree
Guests can have a hearty buffet style breakfast and dinner at the Tamarind. In the evening there is entertainment by local musicians and singers, adding a taste of Caribbean culture to your meal.
Il Vigento Sur Mare
This is an Italian restaurant which is only open for dinner. The speciality is lobster and authentic pasta dishes.
Sea Grape Bar and Grill
This venue is open during the day and serves light meals and drinks on the beach.
Hawksbill Beach has 111 Guest Rooms which include detached bungalows, ground-floor rooms with patios and upper-floor rooms with balconies. Please note that this resort is not suitable for wheelchair access.
All rooms feature the following standard amenities:

Guest rooms are spacious and feature colonial-style, dark-wood furniture/louvre blinds, tiled flooring and colourful fabric accents.
These bungalows have one king bed or two twin beds - a rollaway bed may also be requested. The rooms stand on the second row of Sea Grapes Beach and offer views of the tropical gardens as well as partial sea views.
Superior Seaview Rooms
These spacious rooms have two double beds and are situated in two-storey buildings on Sea Grapes Beach. Additional features include a sitting area, telephone, desk and additional rollaway beds, on request. The rooms enjoy partial sea views.
Superior Seaview Bungalows
These rooms are located on the first row of Sea Grapes Beach and have wonderful ocean views. The bungalows are smaller than the Superior Seaview Rooms and feature one king bed or two twin beds, a sitting area, telephone and desk. Interconnecting rooms may be available, on request.
Beachfront Club Room
These bungalows resemble offer a choice of two locations. Rooms located between Honeymoon Cove and Sea Grapes Beach have one king bed or two double beds. Rooms at Royal Palm Beach have one king bed or two double beds plus an additional rollaway bed, on request. All of the bungalows enjoy extensive sea views and some have interconnecting rooms. Additional features include a sitting area, air conditioning and telephone.
The Great House
This impressive colonial-style property is situated at the tip of the Hawksbill Peninsula. It is fully equipped and features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, living area and kitchenette/bar. The wrap-around balcony offers spectacular sea views.
