Halcyon Cove By Rex Resorts
The Halcyon Cove is spread out over a half mile long white, sandy beach situated on the north west coast of Antigua. The island is renowned for its tropical beauty and for the fact that it probably has more beaches per square mile than anywhere else in the world.
Halcyon Cove’s beach is part of Dickenson Bay, acknowledged as one of the loveliest on the island, and is ideal for swimming in the warm, safe Caribbean, or just spending the day reading a good book while spread out under a palm tree.
If it’s activity you’re after, however, there is a wide range of beach and water sports available. The hotel offers its guests free access to Sunfish sailing boats, snorkelling and kayaks. For an extra charge you can try your hand at waterskiing or scuba diving. Away from the beach you can have a game or two of tennis or play a round of golf. The golf course is not within the resort area and green fees are payable.
Children are more than welcome at this holiday playground and there is a special club just for them called the rexplorers. Membership of the club is available for children from four to twelve and is open weekdays.
If wedding bells are in the offing, the hotel has a range of special wedding packages to offer prospective brides and grooms. The lovely location of the hotel and the experience of their wedding planners will ensure a wonderful day to remember.
